Enyimba Pharmaceutical and Allied Products Limited was established during a critical turning point in Nigeria’s pharmaceutical sector. In 2016, the Federal Government of Nigeria, in collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria (PCN) and NAFDAC, initiated a policy to phase out open drug markets and replace them with Coordinated Wholesale Centres (CWCs).
Sir Emeka Osuagwu and Corsica Emeka Okoro, both representing the Aba drug market, were part of the historic discussions that birthed this policy. Seizing the opportunity to create a compliant and forward-thinking pharmaceutical enterprise, they, alongside Pharmacist Chidi Dozie, co-founded Eynimba Pharmaceutical and Allied Products Limited. The company was formed not only as a business venture but as a solution-driven initiative to support government reform and protect public health.
